Dr. Henry Wu, MD
PEDIATRICIAN & FOUNDER OF OAKWELL PEDIATRICS
Dr. Wu is a board-certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics who has over a decade of pediatric-specific experience. He has worked in the newborn nursery, hospital, urgent care, outpatient, and virtual healthcare settings.
Dr. Wu graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California (USC) and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He trained at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), one of the nation's top ranked institutions, for his internship and residency, and was selected as Intern of the Year and Chief Resident.
With his training, he is adept at providing care for routine pediatric issues, but excels in the recognition and care of complex and multidisciplinary needs of children with underlying medical conditions, such as allergies, asthma, recurrent illnesses, those born premature or with genetic syndromes, and developmental concerns.
He left corporate medicine after 8 years to provide a more personalized, highly responsive, and a more compassionate approach to pediatric care. He has received several recognitions as one of the best pediatricians and was recently named to the 2025 Rising Stars SuperDoctors list.
Outside of work, Dr. Wu has mentored students and trainees interested in pursuing medicine and has volunteered with various boards and organizations, including the USC Alumni Association’s Board of Governors, Hollywood Health & Society, the Los Angeles Pediatric Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Wu was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley and is ecstatic to return to provide care in his community where he lives with his wife and son.
